For the past 20 years, Touchette Regional Hospital’s Golf Tournament has helped raise the funds needed to connect Metro East residents to quality, compassionate care in their neighborhood. This year, Touchette’s “On Course for Success” Golf Tournament will drive the hospital’s mission further, ensuring the healthcare needs of underserved, low-income patients are met and creating a healthier community overall.
“On Course for Success” will be held on Friday, Sept. 16 at The Prairies Golf Course, 300 Tricentennial Drive in Cahokia. Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 10 a.m. The tournament includes 18 holes of golf, golf cart, attendance gift, lunch, refreshments, prizes and dinner. Golfers can register individually for $125 or get a four-person scramble team together for $500. Two player teams are accepted and will be matched up the day of the tournament. Proceeds from “On Course for Success” will go directly to Touchette to help fund equipment, programming and patient care.
Dr. Tom Mikkelson, Chief Operating Officer for Touchette, praised the community for two decades of coming together through the tournament to support the work of Touchette. “We are so excited to celebrate this milestone with our participants and look forward to again sharing their generosity to continue to improve the care, facilities and service to the patients who depend on us for care. Our golfers make a real difference!”
