Touchette Regional Hospital (TRH) is inviting the public to participate in a blood drive it is hosting on Wednesday, April 24, 2019. The event will be held on the East St. Louis Higher Education Campus, 601 James R. Thompson Blvd, Building B. The Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center (MVRBC) donor bus will be located in the parking lot behind Building B for available donors.
“We continue to host area blood drives and seek donors because the need for blood transfusions is enormous,” said Felecia Jackson, community outreach specialist at TRH. “Every donor is appreciated and whether they recognize it or not, their donation is helping to save lives. Knowing that, giving an hour of your time to donate and potentially save a life is a great feeling.”
The blood drive is scheduled on April 24 from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. You can schedule a donation time online by visiting www.bloodcenterIMPACT.org using sponsor code 9804. You can also schedule a time by contacting Felecia Jackson at 618-332-6119 or fjackson@touchette.org.
