Touchette Regional Hospital to Hold 2nd Annual Senior Health Festival

Touchette Regional Hospital announced today that it will hold its 2ndAnnual Senior Health Festival. The three-hour long event will be held Tuesday, Mar. 26 at the Clyde C. Jordan Senior Citizens Center, 6755 State Street., in East St. Louis, Ill. The event is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Seniors over the age of 50 who come out to the festival will have an opportunity to receive health screenings and resources as part of Touchette’s Senior’s I.Q. (Improving Quality) Program. No individual will be turned away; all are welcome to attend. Health insurance is not required.

“Our primary goal is to ensure that healthcare is accessible to everyone in the region,” said Felecia Jackson, Community Outreach Specialist. “Holding this annual festival at the Clyde C. Jordan Senior Citizens Center allows us to reach a number of individuals and provide them with necessary health screenings and resources they may not otherwise have the opportunity to receive.”
