Electroencephalography (EEG) is the measurement of electrical activity produced by the brain as recorded from electrodes placed on the scalp.

Electrocardiogram (EKG) is a noninvasive transthoracic graphic produced by an electrocardiograph, which record the electrical activity of the heart over time

Respiratory Therapy specializes in the assessment and treatment of respiratory and cardiovascular pathologies. These include chronic lung problems (i.e. asthma, bronchitis, emphysema, COPD) and more acute multi-systemic problems stemming from other pathological conditions such as heart attacks, stroke, or trauma as well as complications at birth.

Pulmonary Function Test (PFT)
One of a number of test used to determine the ability of the lungs to exchange oxygen and carbon dioxide. Test Capabilities:

  • Spirometry

  • Flow Volume Loops

  • Thoracic Gas Volume (FRC)

  • Airway Resistance

  • Pulmonary Compliance

  • Diffusing Capacity
  • Intrabreath Diffusing Capacity

Echocardiography (ECHO)
A noninvasive diagnostic method that uses ultrasound to visualize internal cardiac structures. All cardiac valves can be visualized, and the dimensions of each ventricle and left atrium can be measured.

  • Valvular Stenosis/Regurgitation

  • Ejection Fraction

  • Wall Motion
